Just some simple reminders to ensure everyone's stay is steady.
Guests

Valid identification for all guests is required upon check-in.

The minimum age for check-in is 18.
​

One person per bed policy. No bed sharing.
​

Do not bring extra people back to the rooms. Violators will be fined.
​

No pets allowed. As much as we love them, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets in the hostel.

Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort, safety or security of other guests or staff will be asked to leave the hostel and will not receive a refund.
​

By booking a bed, guests agree to the terms & conditions and the house rules.

Day-to-Day

Check-in time is 3 pm.
​

Check-out time is 10 am.
​

A light complimentary breakfast of fruit, cereal and coffee is served from 7 am to 1030 am in the common room.

Cleaning staff starts at 10 am. We do our best not to disturb our guests.
​

We want all of our guests (and neighbors) to have good rest. Please keep the noise down between 10 pm-7 am in the rooms and 12 am-7 am in the common areas.

If you are a light sleeper and might have problems with people snoring, dogs barking, vehicles driving by, passersby on the streets below, or the occasional hallway conversation, we have earplugs for sale at the Front Desk.

For stays over 4 days, towel and beddings may be replaced upon request, free of charge.​

Appliances, linens, and utensils may not be removed from the kitchen, bedrooms, or bathrooms.

Please switch off lights and ceiling fans when not in use.

The furnishings and facilities are there for your benefit and that of future guests; all facilities are to be treated with TLC. As common courtesy, please leave the common areas and rooms clean and tidy after use.

Rooms, toilets, bathrooms, balconies, and hallways are non-smoking areas. If you wish to smoke, you may do so at the open roof deck or outside the establishment. No smoking, vaping (e-cigarettes), drinking or eating inside the dorm rooms. We have smoke detectors in place. Violators shall be fined.

All types of illegal substances are forbidden in the hostel. The Steady is a drug free establishment. Management reserves the right to remove guest(s) who are found to be carrying and/or under the influence of these substances.

The use of fire escapes, fire extinguishers and fire buttons is only allowed in case of emergencies. Abuse of this is sanctioned with a fine. Guests who deliberately cause a false alarm will have to refund all costs to The Steady.

Zero tolerance for violence. No weapons and/or firearms allowed on the premises.

The common areas are under video surveillance for your own protection.​

Friends

Common areas are for the use and enjoyment of all guests and friends of guests. However, all non-guests will be asked to leave the premises at 9 pm.

Guests and friends of guest(s) are required to conduct themselves in a disciplined and responsible manner at the Steady and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests. Any act(s) of indecency, lewdness and undisciplined behavior will not be tolerated and may be subject to fines.

The hostel management reserves the right to refuse entry to non-guests -- for the security of those checked-in.​

If something is great, tell your friends. If something isn’t, please let us know, and we will do everything in our power to remedy it.
